Pfizer/Pageant
of the Masters
- A theatrical
masterpiece was taken out of its venue for the first time ever and
executed to precision in mere days. The performances ran over three
separate waves. Art truly came to life before the guests’
eyes in a unique and spectacular form.
- Along with
the design, we handled the technical rider, and all of the sophisticated
lighting to produce the special effects which landed us an industry
award for Best Theatrical Entertainment Production.

WellPoint
- Different atmospheres/parties
were created on each of seven different levels, for 7,000 guests
at one of Los Angeles’ largest hotels.
- From registration
credentials to décor, lighting, florals, and entertainment,
LA Party Designs handled everything.
Revo
- An intimate
meeting space was created on a public beach, sustaining the elements
of wind and sand with a great design.
- This was not
an ordinary day at the beach, but a business meeting forum complete
with sunglasses, shoe checks, and ocean views. A last minute turn
around was accomplished without compromising the look of the event.
Roche
Labs
- We succeeded
in creating an element of surprise for over 800 guests who thought
they came to view an exhibition Polo match and instead were treated
to an extravaganza beyond their wildest imagination.
- Here’s
the scene: The polo field goes dark and the crowd goes silent in
the pitch black night. A spotlight appears and follows a mystical
image gliding towards the crowd. It’s a white horse with wings
which we costumed to showcase the client’s release of Pegasus,
their new medication. Suddenly, the field lights pop on to lead
guests into the tent for a Cirque performance extraordinaire.

Elizabeth
Glaser Pediatric AIDS
- This was a
kick-off event in a unique and captivating environment, designed
to generate support for a beneficial fundraiser and spark interest
in a new location.
- We were required
to coordinate many subcontracted vendors including over 40 celebrities,
40 entertainers, and more than 15 restaurants. Difficult logistical
challenges related to the venue, parking availability, and inclement
weather, were all addressed in seamless fashion.

Petersen/Cocoanut
Grove
- The Cocoanut
Grove, a well-known club of the 50’s, was re-created for a
surprise birthday party.
- Guests were
amazed by the attention to detail from the overall design to the
specific dessert. All who attended felt as though they had walked
through the doors of the actual Cocoanut Grove.

Nissan
Open
- Tent décor
treatment was designed for showcasing a new car line at one of the
largest golf tournaments.
- Décor
and lighting had to last for a week-long period which required secure
rigging of all equipment for this challenging outdoor venue.

Club
- We transformed
the ordinary into the extraordinary by taking a traditional looking
room and turning it into a cool club.
- Hip lounge
furniture, funky lighting, eclectic florals, and a custom-made soundtrack
enhanced the full club effect.
